Metrics

Track what matters to you with customizable metrics, from simple yes/no questions to detailed data.

Basic Settings

Name

  • Enter a short name (up to 12 characters)
  • AI can suggest a name based on your description and emoji (premium)
  • Names should be concise and clear (e.g., “Sleep” instead of “Sleep Hours”)

Description

  • Add a detailed description or question for your metric
  • AI can generate appropriate questions based on metric type (premium)
  • Helps provide context when filling out entries
  • Examples:
    • Number: “How many glasses of water did you drink today?”
    • Scale: “On a scale from 1 to 5, how focused were you today?”
    • Text: “What moment today brought you the most joy?”
    • Red/Green: “Did you accomplish your primary goal for the day?”

Type

Choose from four metric types:

  1. Number: Track numeric values
  2. Scale: Rate on a scale (1-5)
  3. Text: Write short text responses
  4. Red/Green: Yes/No True/False answers

Emoji

  • Select an emoji to represent your metric
  • AI can suggest relevant emojis based on metric name (premium)
  • If no emoji is selected, defaults to 📈
  • Access emoji picker by tapping the emoji field

Display Options

Home Screen

  • Toggle “Show on Home Screen” to add/remove from main view
  • Paused metrics cannot be shown on home screen

Tracking Schedule (Premium)

Choose when to track your metric:

  • All Days: Track every day
  • Work Days: Only track on your defined work days
  • Non-Work Days: Only track on non-work days
  • Custom: Select specific days of the week
    • Use custom picker to select individual days

You can customize your work days in Settings.

Health Integration (iOS Only, Premium)

Apple Health Sync

  • Toggle “Sync Apple Health Data” to connect
  • Available only on iOS devices with Health access
  • See Apple Health for more details.

Health Data Privacy

  • No health data is stored in the app
  • Data is displayed only when available on your device
  • If you delete health data from Apple Health, it will no longer be displayed in the app.
  • Optional: Share health metrics with AI for insights
    • Disabled by default for privacy
    • Enable to allow AI to find correlations

Pause Metric

  • Temporarily hide metric from new entries
  • Preserves historical data
  • Automatically removes from home screen
  • Can be unpaused at any time

Delete Metric

  • Permanently removes the metric
  • Deletes all historical data
  • Cannot be undone
  • Removes from all past entries

Auto-Save

  • All changes to metrics are saved and synced automatically
  • Empty metrics are deleted when leaving settings
  • Default emoji (📈) added if none selected
